The PhD student, Felipe Augusto Soares, represented the Laboratory of Image Data Science (LIDS) at the 52nd Brazilian Congress of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The event took place in Florianópolis – Santa Catarina, from September 25 to 28, 2018.
On this occasion, the researcher presented two papers entitled “Study of the technical principles of Dissolved Air Flotation as new tool for human enteroparasites detection” and “Epidemiological profile of schistosomiasis mansoni in Campinas – São Paulo, between 2007 and 2017”.
In an interview, Felipe stresses the importance of keeping updated on topics related to his field of study and the relevance of scientific dissemination that promotes scientific-technological advances and directly affects the society.
